Harbinger of Spring

The silence of winter has truly been broke and there is sweet music in the air!  Aaaaah ... the first of our song birds have arrived home!  To say I was giddy with excitement when I discovered a flock of American Robins (Turdus migratorius) out in our home pasture this morning could be a bit of an understatement!  However, after 6 months of winter's silence, the sweet warbles of song birds filling our barren trees and landscape with harmonious music seems to reignite one's soul! I think "Spring" is taking hold!
