Look who we found hiding around our front door this afternoon!!! Muskrat anyone? Well, if you are going to rescue Olive the Great Horned Owl ... one might as well rescue Murry the Muskrat! I know, many of you just groaned and muttered ... it's a RAT but in the eyes of my 5 year old ... this muskrat is cute! So, instead of traumatizing the 5 year old ... we scooted 'Murry' into a cat carrier, loaded him/her ... (not really sure) into the truck and whisked him up to our big slough where a rat house awaited his arrival! 'Murry' seemed relieved to be back out in the wild!
