Happy Canada Day!

Celebrating Canada's 147th Birthday ... we fixed fence!  Haha!  Yes, while others were at parades, pancake breakfasts and other wonderful activities to honour the Confederation of Canada, we were patching and fixing some old fence in preparation of moving cows into their summer pasture.  No worries though ... it was an absolutely gorgeous morning, a peaceful morning and we were together as a family!  The repairs didn't take long and by the afternoon, we were sitting on the deck of our neighbours, enjoying a cold beverage, watching the kids running through the sprinkler and playing on the trampoline!  Thanks for the great afternoon and barbecue 'T-Crew!"  We had a great time!!!

Happy Canada Day Everyone!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

I'm very late posting this!  I guess you could say the fresh air, turkey and duck got the best of me!  Yes, we celebrated our Canadian Thanksgiving in style yesterday by putting in a 1/2 mile of fence!!!  Do we know how to have fun or what?  LOL!  However, the boys and I enjoyed a fantastic turkey dinner with our wonderful neighbours to the west and neighbours to the south helped us put up our fence and treated us to a meal of duck last night!  The combination of good food, a glass of wine and windburn definitely assisted with an early evening!  I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving and those that were not celebrating ... I hope you had a great day!

My Fencing Crew!

We have MILES of old 'picket-like' fence that has been standing since the dinosaurs roamed (okay ... not quite that long but certainly long enough!) and this afternoon provided some opportunity to work on just ONE of those fence lines!   After rolling up wire and pulling old posts, my lil' fencing crew stepped in to help move posts to make way for the new fence!

The boys worked hard today and certainly made us proud to have such a great fencing crew helping out!  Thanks for being such great kids!  Love Ya!
