It was a mixed bag of weather today.  Overcast, dull and grey, flurries, moments of sunshine and fog.  However, despite my 'spring fever' syndrome, I was determined to find some cheer from another long winter's day!  Snowflakes!  Yup, little tiny snowflakes stuck to tree branches!  I know ... but snowflakes are amazing and if there was going to be a diamond in the rough ... snowflakes were it!

No, they weren't the BIG, FLUFFY snowflakes, just those small dainty ones.  However, with each and every flurry that started and ended within in a blink of an eye today, I was tempted ... oh so tempted to dig out the Christmas tunes!  ALAS, I did not!  Hmm ... November is around the corner!  

A Flakey Day

March 1st!  Wow, only 18 more days until the first day of spring (March 19th) and not many more days to capture a snowflake!  It's been a difficult winter to capture a snowflake  ... we just haven't had them.  Well, today was a day full of light flurries.  So, when opportunity knocks ... I guess nab it!

It is December and what could be prettier than a dainty snowflake?  Hmm ... well, I am stuck with the flakes so I guess I will have to appreciate their beauty for the next 4-5 months!  However,  if you are missing out ... here is a snowflake or two for you!
