Counting Crows

Not only can you count crows ... many, many, many crows these days... but you can also count the days of summer that remain!  Hmm ... I really don't like how they correlate!  Our days have definitely become shorter, the nights are getting cooler and the birds, crows and all, are beginning their late summer rituals of flocking together!  As much as I love witnessing the fall migration of birds, I'm always sad to see them go ...

My Idea and the Horses Ideas Might Be Two Different Things ...

 ... But I love when it pans out for all of us!

After procrastinating ALL day, due mostly to my distaste for the crazy wind that has graced us with its presence ... I headed out into our home pasture just to take a few quick photos of the sun setting!  However, a few of the horses had alternative plans!  They are young and LOVE to play ... especially if there is a crowd!  Hmm ... I guess I won't complain ... they played, I captured the 'HorseSet' ... and eventually saw the setting sun without 'assistance!'  

Night Hawk ...

Usually, I am guilty of being a 'Night Hawk!'  However, tonight I think I will let this fine lady take on the roll!  Good Night Everyone!

Behind the Grey

It was overcast and grey all day!  BUT, every once in awhile, behind all that grey, the sun made the odd attempt of burning through the cloud cover.  Well, it had some success, late this afternoon ... just enough that I could capture a silhouette of some of the trees!
