Headed West ...

The great thing about living in Alberta, Canada is that you can, within a few hours, leave the prairies and arrive in the beautiful Foothills and Canadian Rocky Mountains or vice versa!  Well, this Country Mouse headed west and met up with her fellow photog friend the City Mouse for a weekend of 'photographing' of course!  We kicked off the weekend with a little jog west of Calgary ... a fabulous way to start any weekend!

A Wedding in the Rockies

Yes, we made it back home but not before enjoying a fabulous weekend in those beautiful Rocky Mountains celebrating my Brother's wedding!  The Bride and Groom could not have asked for a better weekend ... the weather was 'perfect!'  And a trip down the river in their canoe was a perfect way to celebrate their special day!  

Moonlit Mountains

With it being almost full moon, I thought I would share one more mountain shot from the weekend.  The sky was so clear while we were out in Banff National Park, that the moon just lit the mountains up like it was daytime.  It was amazing to see their detail under a moonlit sky!

With the lack of snow on the prairies these days, my family and I escaped to the Canadian Rockies this weekend, to enjoy some snow shoeing!  These are a few photos snapped as we drove into Banff National Park on our way to Lake Louise!  Ahhhh ... Mountains ... Glorious Mountains!  They are always an incredible sight!
