Under That Big Sky
I apologize ... yup, another tractor image but I couldn't resist under that gorgeous prairie sky! My husband started seeding peas today! After a brief lil' sprinkle (not even enough to deem a rain shower), the sky seemed to threaten moisture one moment and the next it was gone. Fingers crossed, a few more days and we should have our spring seeding wrapped up!

No need to apologize for tractor pictures. This is a great image.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks Matt!
DeleteGreat shot Terri I really love the way your picture shows the magnitude of the sky and the field....Awesome! Were you on your belly?
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam! I wasn't on my belly .... but close! LOL!
DeleteTotally agree with Matt and Pam. Such an amazing picture! I was wondering if you have a favorite lens. If you do, I would guess it is your wide angle lens? :) Also if you don't mind me asking do you use an editing program? If so, which one?
ReplyDeleteAwe! Thanks Olga! Hmm ... favourite lens??? I usually pack both my cameras with me. My 70-300mm is 98% of the time on my old D70 and I take most of my critter shots with it. On my D7000, I usually have my 85mm prime on it 90% of the time and switch it out for the wide angle for big sky pics like this one and night photography. Favourite ... quality wise, my 85mm is my favourite but I use all three so much I don't know if I could just pick just one. A friend of mine was renting a 55-200mm lens to give it a go. She was looking for a single travel lens and really liked the range of the 55-200mm.
DeleteAs for programs, I just use Nikon's ViewNX2 and Capture NX2 and I have Photoshop Elements 9. Hope that helps! :)
Terri, thank you for the great info. I have heard that picking a favorite lens is like picking a favorite child, we just can't. It's impossible:)....I have an 18-200mm that I use all the time an a 70-300 which I wish I have handy more often for those times when I see "critters". I think a macro lens would be great too. I have Photoshop Elements 10 but I have to admit I don't use it.
