Ah, yes ... those old buildings that still stand out on the prairie. If only their walls could talk! This is an old stone building that was originally the old butcher shop in Byemoor, Alberta. It now stands up on a hill in one of our pastures. The original land owners actually took it apart and rebuilt it on their home quarter many, many years ago. The stone work is in amazing shape ... however, I don't think that roof will shelter much from the pending spring snow storm that is on the way. I think it has seen one too many storms over the years!
