The American Coot ... aka 'Mud Hen!' Part duck, part chicken, part grebe ... or so it seems ... these funny creatures have arrived back in the sloughs. I was hoping to catch a few ducks on this Easter Sunday but instead I caught this coot charging at its rival! I was trying to figure out my exposure lock on my camera ... hmmm ... I still need to figure it out. Back to the drawing board!! I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Easter Sunday! Happy Easter everyone!
