Ah ... -9C and no wind really does feel like a warm day at the beach after -30C! Well, perhaps not a day at the beach but it feels like a day closer to spring! The horses were out sunning themselves out on the hilltops this afternoon!
I have been following your blog for a few days here and have to say I'm completely smitten. Everything you shoot speaks right to my heart - I do believe a large part of my heart is made up of these prairies.
You are so gifted. I'm glad you are sharing a little piece of your world! Maybe we will run into each other someday - I'm thinking we aren't too far apart. Hopefully today , this nice weather trend hangs on and we can fool ourselves into thinking spring has sprung.
Hi Cheyenne! Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes, the prairie is certainly 'home' to me! As much as I love to visit other places ... I don't think I could live anywhere but the prairies! I hope you enjoyed the fantastic weather over the weekend! With March on the way, there will still be a few winter stumbling blocks but at least the days are getting longer!
Très belle photo!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week-end.
Cheers Cath! Hope all is well and that you had a great weekend!
