Yes, we celebrated Canada's 146th anniversary of Confederation today! Woo Hoo! The day started off foggy but it burned off quickly! I hauled my camera out to snap a photo of this Swallowtail before the kids were up but the plan was to take photos of the boys and us enjoying the day. Hmm ... needless to say, somehow, my husband ended up on the road all day and the boys and I were just busy! However, we were all together, along with some good friends for a hot summer's day barbecue this evening! Alas, I was too busy enjoying food, drink and good conversation, not to mention holding the most adorable, soon to be 3 month old, baby boy to take photos ... so the Swallowtail it is! Happy Canada Day Everyone!
LOVE this photo terri. I've never had as many of these gorgeous butterflies as I have this year. They flap around here constantly and yesterday were hanging out with my tiger lillies. Gorgeous photo
