Western Dock on Ice

Western or Field Dock (Rumex occidentalis or Rumex pseudonatronatus) is one of those plants that I curse when it decides to 'pop up' in my garden ... it is a well-rooted plant, but I do love to photograph it!  After an early sprinkle of 'freezing rain,' the remainder of the day was overcast but not as cold as the last few days. I think the sun is supposed to return tomorrow.
