Not the most creative title but it's all I could come up with on a Monday night! I'm still in shock that it's October 1st and pondering what happened to spring and summer ... they moved on far too quickly for my liking. Not that I don't love 'Fall,' actually I do. In fact, I think its my favourite season but it's definitely our shortest ... at least it always feels like it! Yes, September and 'Fall' presented us with an 'Indian Summer.' And what started off as a nice October day has ended with clouds and a strong, cold northerly wind (which by the way, is blowing all of the leaves off the trees). The rain is supposed to arrive later this evening and the -5C temperature is set to arrive later in the week! I guess this means, the 'Indian Summer' is gone and that 'other season' is knocking on 'Fall's' door!

The sepia and the fence post make great partners. I see you like fence posts too!
ReplyDeleteI do love fence posts ... especially this one! Somehow I have to convince my husband to leave it in place (despite the remainder of the fence line needing replaced). New fence posts and wire serve their purpose well but they aren't as appealing to photograph! Weathered posts and rusty, broken wire tell a story of time ...
