There is more to a slough, especially in the summertime, than 'swamp water' and bugs! They are such amazing little ecosystems and filters! I love the diversity of grasses, reeds and log flower pots of course! And some accused me of not planting any flower pots ... I didn't need too ... the sloughs did it for me! Haha!
