The beauty and power of the Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park (http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/ab/jasper/visit/visit29.aspx) is definitely a wonderful sight! No, they are not HUGE by any means at 23 meters but due to the sheer size of the Athabasca River, it is definitely one of the most powerful falls in the Canadian Rockies. Considering the Athabasca River was pouring over its banks back in July ... I can't even imagine the force it was packing even a month ago!!!
