Serenity

It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it.
~John Burroughs

"Crisp winter air," ... huh!  Lucky for us it's still AUTUMN!  Who knew?  That's okay ... Autumn scenes like this will forever take precedence over high rises, asphalt and billboards in any season!  In my humble opinion, there is nothing prettier than the prairie!

Have a great weekend everyone!

  2. I'm a bit torn on this. These scenes are great but sometimes I wish I lived in the city with something new around every corner. I also know that if I lived in the city I would long for the country where a five mile drive takes five minutes and you know there will be a place to park when you get there.

    1. Having lived in both the city and the country, the country will forever reign supreme for me! BUT I think no matter where you live, there is something new around every corner as long as you choose to look for it! I know many who live in the city and walk the same paths and venture to the same places never exploring the full extent of what is offered to them; never seeing nor looking for something new. That is the same on the prairies Matt. Nature is always evolving and there is something new every single time I go outside; each corner offering something new, each day being completely different from the day before. I've yet been able to replicate a situation or a scene exactly the same from one year to the next or one season to another.

I must say though, sometimes chinese takeout on a Saturday night would be sweet! LOL!
