Pronghorn Pair

Referred to as 'Antelope,' I spotted this pair of pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) in a canola field not too far from home.  Definitely on the northern edge of their range, we do have some small herds of Pronghorn (unlike south of the #9).  Residents of the arid grasslands, Pronghorns are the fastest of North America's land mammals!  They have incredible eyesight ... stereoscopic vision due to the protrusion of their large eyes!  In other words ... they see us, long before we see them!
